Manual-Transmission Hondas Like the Fit, Civic Coupe, and Accord Are Slaughtered

Honda has recently announced that it will no longer produce manual transmission versions of the Fit, Civic Coupe, and Accord.

Because of the satisfying tactile experience of shifting gears manually, many Honda fans are devastated by this news.

Although the exact reasons for Honda's decision to stop producing cars with manual transmissions remain unclear,

a "change in client preferences" is cited as a possible factor.

As automatic gearboxes have become more commonplace,

demand for cars with manual transmissions has dropped.

It's unfortunate that Honda has stopped making these classic cars, but they may still be available on used-car lots.
